Nano-Titanium Oxide in Polymeric Contact Lenses: Short Communication

چکیده

Many individuals suffer from myopia or hyperopia and astigmatism owing to the refractive defects of eye optics because use inappropriate contact lenses. This study dealt with three polymers Poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA), Poly(Hydroxyl (PHEMA), Poly(glycidyl (PGMA) doping them TiO2 nanoparticles evaluate difference between effect each lens on human eye. The NPs were prepared in this work by sol–gel method obtain 70–90 nm sized particles. Modulation transfer (MTF) spot diagram assessed measure ocular performance. PGMA-TiO2 provided highest image quality at lowest probability (P) about p < 0.0001 when inserted an aberrated system its ability eliminate chromatic aberrations created inside eyes having a smaller size.
